Why have we created this website.

At the end of September 2001 we acquired an Albin 25, built in 1979 with the construction number: 1405. It was love at first sight.

Sailing through the waters of Holland, we have enjoyed meeting and speaking to many other Albin 25 owners. They all had one thing in common - they were all in love with their boats.

From all these conversations it soon became clear that it would be great if there was a way that we could compare notes.  A modification on one boat will be very interisting to other owners.  Or there may be questions about her/his Albin. Well...... what is the best place to do this?? Yes - the internet

Translating Dutch into the English language was also for me a big job, but without Chris Bird - he has corrected all the English text on gramatic-   this website was never become on the air . Thanks Chris, it is great!  (this line is not corrected by Chris )

There is one thing that I am certain of - the Albin is a beautiful boat and we just love her.
